Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, California hired consultants to study power savings by various alternative-energy systems, and concluded COGEN was the best alternative. SDP installed a 500kW system for use in their dormitories to heat the showers and provide electricity.  The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy has just begun construction of a 250kW SDP COGEN system expecting to be online in the fall of 2008.  Installed last year and operating now are two 250kW systems in High Schools in the New England area.
