SDP Service Division dispatches highly experienced technicians from locations in North/Central and Southern California as well as from the SDP Test Center in Carson City, Nevada. The SDP Service Division is responsible for operating and maintaining in excess of 18,000 kW of Co-Generation/CHP equipment. Another 4,500 kW of capacity is scheduled to be added during 2011. The Carson City Facility is a fully stocked parts distribution warehouse for MAN Natural Gas, Bio-Gas and Bio-Diesel engine parts, Doosan Natural Gas and Bio-Diesel engine parts, Motortech Control and Ignition Systems, Gill AFRC, ECS Catalytic Converters, and many other CHP components.

This SDP Test Center is used as the headquarters for the Service Division. The Operations Center, which was finished in 2007, is able to monitor multiple fleets units using the latest in remote monitoring software by Motortech. This software enables SDP Corporation to manage maintenance requirements, unscheduled services, outages, and customer expectations. In the future the Operations Center will be manned 24 hours a day and be able to remotely operate and manage multiple  SDP Corporation owned   Combined Heat and Power producing facilities around the globe as well as Independently owned CHP facilities.

Gill Air Fuel Ratio Controller programming

The Gill AF120 passed a grueling month long 24/7 test by SCEC with the SCAQMD board receiving the results. This Test was performed at one of the SDP CHP sites and passed with flying colors.

SDP Corporation uses its Test Center in Carson City Nevada for bringing new components and technology to market. Southern California Air Quality Management District is the strictest air quality district in the country. The rest of the country may follow California’s lead. The SDP Service Division is highly trained to work with SCAQMD personnel in keeping units up to date and in compliance.  All SDP Service Technicians are SCAQMD Certified Emission Specialist and participate in routine updated Emission Compliance training.
