Carson City is the home of SDP Service Division, which operates and maintains in excess of 12,000 kW of COGEN plant. In 2008, the Service Division will take over 1500kW of new SDP “own & operate”, plus 3500kW of new 3rd party COGEN plant installed by SDP. The Carson City Facility is a fully stocked parts distribution warehouse for MAN parts, Square D, Comap, Gill, Motortech, and many other suppliers.

This facility is used as the headquarters for the Service Division personnel. All service technicians are dispatched from this central location. The State of the art Operations Center, which was finished by the end of 2007, will be able to monitor multiple fleets units using the latest in remote monitoring software by ComAp. This software enables SDP Corporation. to manage maintenance requirements, unscheduled services, outages, and customer expectations. In the future the Operations Center will be manned 24 hours a day and be able to remotely operate a vast fleet of SDP Corporation. Units and Customer owned fleets.

The Gill AF120 Recently passed a grueling month long 24/7 test with SCEC with the AQMD board receiving the results. This Test was performed at one of CMS’s sites and passed with flying colors using Gill, DCL, CMS and RCL Products!

SDP Corporation uses its test center in Carson City Nevada for bringing new components and technology to market. Southern California Air Quality Management District is the strictest district in the country to keep in compliance with. Soon the rest of the country will follow California’s lead. SDP staff is highly trained to work with SCAQMD personnel to keep units up to date and in compliance.
