SDP Manufacturing Division in partnership with Jiangsu Stowell Shuguang Power Company Ltd (SSP) produces SDP COGEN units in a modern 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Jiangyan City, Jiangsu, China, which was constructed to our specifications, for the sole purpose of building COGEN units.

All units are assembled utilizing ISO standards and receive vigorous testing prior to being shipped. SDP uses Lean Manufacturing principles during assembly, reducing waste and inefficiencies. The factory is clean, well organized and maintains a strict adherence to quality and safety. SDP installed a factory testing center, utilizing a liquid natural gas station specifically designed to fuel our units and allow for around the clock operation and monitoring.

The factory operation is guided by American VP of Operations, Bryan Mewhort, who has built and managed production lines for Fortune 500 companies. The Chinese staff is headed by the Deputy General Manager, Henry Hang, assisted by the Chief Mechanical Engineer, Billy Cheng and Chief Electrical Engineer, John Wang. Each of these managers has long-time experience in power generation and heat engineering fields. Each work center is staffed by Technicians trained and qualified in their respective areas.

The Factory assembles the COGEN unit, which consists of Engine, Generator, Heat Exchanger, and controls, skid-mounted in a sound-attenuated enclosure designed by our engineers.

When completed, the unit is tested for performance specifications at the factory.

After Testing, the unit is shipped to Carson City Testing and Demonstration Division, where the catalyst and site-related components and controls are added.
